How Custom Packaging Elevates Sue Lewis Chocolatier to Next Level

At Myerton Packaging, we take immense pride in partnering with businesses committed to sustainable practices. Sue Lewis Chocolatier is one such cherished collaborator that we have been working with for 10+ years, and our journey with them exemplifies our dedication to creating custom packaging solutions that are also sustainable.

For many years, we’ve worked hand in hand with Sue Lewis Chocolatier, crafting custom packaging that aligns seamlessly with their ethos of environmental responsibility. Having already developed two sets of environmentally friendly chocolate packaging made from 100% pure pulp, we understood the importance of merging sustainability with their brand identity through custom packaging.

When Sue Lewis embarked on a re-branding journey in 2016, Myerton Packaging joined hands for an exciting venture. Together, we delved deep into the essence of their brand and aspirations. After careful consideration, the choice was clear – cardboard lid and bottom boxes made from dark brown paper perfectly amplifying her brand’s image.

As client began seeking more eco-conscious alternatives for their chocolate boxes in 2019, we leveraged our profound understanding of their branding and our expertise in sustainable and custom packaging. Thus, we set out on a mission to craft eco-friendly solutions that would not only align seamlessly with their brand but also beautifully showcase their exquisite chocolate creations.

To elevate the boxes’ aesthetics, we meticulously applied copper foil stamping, adding a touch of refinement to the design. The foil-printed logo harmonizes seamlessly with the color and texture of the chocolate boxes, creating a captivating narrative that embodies the brand’s story. This subtle infusion of beauty and gentleness imparts an undeniable sense of luxury to the boxes, capturing the essence of Sue Lewis Chocolatier’s commitment to excellence. Paired with perfectly matching ribbons, our chocolates are presented in a manner that exudes opulence, captivating customers from their very first glance.

These custom chocolate boxes are more than just packaging; they also represent a commitment to sustainability. Crafted from paper derived from Crush agro-industrial waste, they contain 15% coffee residue, reusing by-products from fruits, nuts, and other produce. By repurposing these materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, we create tactile and luxurious packaging while significantly reducing our environmental footprint.

Using agro-industrial waste also translates to fewer trees being cut down, as it reduces the need for virgin pulp. Furthermore, our Crush agro-industrial waste paper packaging is FSC-certified, GMO-free, and contains 30% post-consumer recycled waste. Its production is powered by 100% green energy, and the boxes are entirely recyclable. It’s a sustainable packaging solution that not only captivates customers but also embodies Sue Lewis Chocolatier’s sustainable commitment.

The branded packaging greatly enhances the brand image and has successfully opened doors for Sue Lewis to reach a broader range of customers, including hotels and event organisers.

But our collaboration doesn’t stop here. As one of the bespoke packaging suppliers, we continue to innovate. This year, we have successfully upgraded the crash lock bottom box, replacing the cardboard lid and bottom boxes, and significantly enhancing the folding efficiency. It’s a testament to our unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of sustainable and custom packaging.
